Halloween 2011!

Ms. Belle and Mr. Skeleton had a blast this Halloween! We threw a block party two nights before so our Trick or Treating Halloween night was quick and easy. This year Kohlston really learned what trick or treating is all about. Once he got the hang of it he knocked on every door repeatedly until someone answered. It was pretty commical. The kids got just enough candy (not sure what to do with it all now). Any ideas?????

Kohl trying out Daddy's teeth! Hah!
I love their poses!!!

Pose #2

Visiting one of our first houses across the street! Check out that grin :)

Boo Hoo Hoo!

Great Gram came over for dinner and trick or treating too! Mike is a jail bird thug - hah!

Our neighbor, Mr. Hank, celebrated his Birthday on Halloween!

Nothing like a wagon ride, door to door :)

All of the kids friends at the other end of the street! Check out all of these great costumes!

Moving on to the next house!

Mommy didn't dress up. She just went along from the ride :)

Jail Bird THUG! Nice teeth babe :)

Time to wrap it up! Heading home after a great, relaxing evening!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween!!!

Soccer Season!

This season is Kohlston's very first! Mike is coaching in hopes that he can help him out a bit. Considering he's only 2 and the team is all 3 year olds we thought he might need it :) As you scroll down you will see why! This is Kai's 3rd season and she has never been more excited! The difference between Kai 3 season's ago (shy, hanging on the goal, holding hands with her b/f/f on the field as the team runs by) to now is unbelievable! She is aggressive and loves to run the ball down the field. She scored an amazing shot and we captured it all :)

Enjoy!

Coach Mike (a.k.a. Daddy) tried to juggle his roll as a 'Coach' and a 'Dad'! I thought he did an amazing job considering Kohlston wasn't too interested in playing :) LOL!

Get back here buddy!
See, this is how you do it! Put your feet out and kick that ball buddy!

Ummm, not so much :)

I think I'd rather hang on this cool rope :)

Or maybe lay in the grass for a bit! (funny thing is this little boy thought Kohl fell and was trying to help him up, Kohlston gave him this look like 'what exactly are you touching me for buddy') ahahaha

After Kohl's 9am game we moved over to the other field to start ROYAL vs. RED (Kai = Royal & Will = Red). It was so exciting because she played her cousin Will. They played a great game :)

GO Kai, GO!!!! (proud Mommy and Daddy cheering in the background)

Kai: "WATCH THIS GUYS"

AND she's OFF! Go, Kai, GO!!!! Run baby!

SCORE!

After running the ball solo all the way down the field and scoring there was a little collision! Yep, that's Will and Kai trying to catch themselves as they ran into each other. No one was hurt, in fact they are still talking about it! LOL

It wouldn't be complete without a shot of KAILEY & BRIANNA :)

We are so excited about this season! More to come so stay tuned :)

Finger Paints!

Nothing like a little early morning finger paint at the Katz Casa! We took egg cartons and filled them with different colors and the kids went to town. Great Gramma Dorothy turns 86 next Friday so Kai and Kohl wanted to paint her something special. We are going to bring her breakfast on her Birthday!

Kohlston was funny because he had to have a wet washcloth to wipe his fingers every few second. I thought boys liked to get dirty???
It was bright and early alright, they only have the top 1/2 of their pj's on!

Little man's masterpiece!Pretty, pretty princess's masterpiece!

They are BEAUTIFUL my little lovebugs! Gram is going to LOVE them :)

Lutz Preparatory

Kailey was accepted into Lutz Preparatory's Charter School VPK program this year! This is very exciting because Charter schools are based on a lottery. Since Kai is currently enrolled in the preschool she and Kohlston will be Grandfathered into higher grades. The school currently goes through 5th grade however, they have applied for an additional 6th grade. Each year they will apply for another grade hoping that it will go all the way through 12th.

LP had their first annual Breakfast with Grandparents last Friday!

Here are Kai and one of her B/F ready for their day!
Kohlston is currently on the EC3 waiting list which is the 3 year old class. He won't turn three until next June.

Gigi Lynne, Terry, Grampa, Kohlston & Kailey at their LP Breakfast.

It was a nice event!

MOSI with Gigi Lynne!

This past weekend Gigi Lynne came down to play with us while Daddy took a trip back to our old stomping grounds (Tallahassee) for the FSU game. We went to MOSI, Museum of Science and Industry. This museum is amazing and has some of the most amazing hands on gadgets. We can't wait to go back and explore it again :) Here are a ton of pictures from our awesome adventure!

Gigi and Kohlston driving the delivery truck. They had to get all of these packages to their home. Hurry, hurry!!!
We didn't get a full picture of this optical illusion but the kids thought it was funny to put their head on this fruit platter!

Yup, Mommy thought it was pretty funny too!

Kailey at her first job ever! She is workingn at the Publix Deli serving me lunch! Mmmm it was yummy!

Gigi Lynne went grocery shoppinng and Kohlston is checking her out! This was cool because there is a wheel that you can turn to make the check out move. Then it's time to put the groceries in the basket.

Now it's Kohlston's turn to shop!

Rockstar jamming on the drums!

Gigi and Kai playing the piano!

Beautiful notes Miss Keeks!

Time for our self portrait! Kohlston wasn't interested in posing with us :)

Dinos!!! Kohlston LOVES dinosaurs!!

Little HAM!

Mommy laying on a bed of nails - ouch! Kai tried it and got off in tears :(

Gigi did it too!!! Brave ladies!

Wheelchair race! This was a little disturbing to actually visualize your loved ones in a wheelchair but it was just a game. Ok, I might have said a few prayers while watching :) That's the Mommy in me. Kohlston is helping Kailey up the ramp!

Gigi was a pro!

Gigi helping little man!

Our pilots, it was a bumpy ride! j/k

Watch out, here comes Firefighter Kailey and her crew!!!

WIND TUNNEL! Kids weren't so crazy about it but Mommy got in and last until the max - 80 miles and hour wind! YIKES! It was pretty scary to think of it in realistic terms of an actual hurricane or tornado - ahhh!

MOSI - we had a blast and can't wait to go back!!! There was so much more to explore :)
