Little Man!

Updates on little man: he's crawling, sitting, standing and soon to be walking. He says Dada, has 8 teeth and a mean death grip! He's eating cheerios, puffs, lil' crunchies, wagon wheels, stage 2 food and just shy of 8 months old!

Kai's 1st Award!

We're so proud of our little Kailey girl! During her 2nd day of school she received her first Citizenship Award for helping her friend put her hat back on while playing outside. Great job Keeks - keep up the good work babe!

My first day of school!

This morning we dropped our little girl off for her very first day of school! We explained how the day would go (since kids don't have a perception of time) so she understood when Mommy & Daddy would be back to pick her up (after nap). She handled it really well. We walked in and Kai said hello to all of the ladies up front. Once we got to her classroom we put her jacket and backpack up on her hook. Kai set off to play with the other kids without a worry in the world. She turned around and said "bye"! We're anxious to call later and check in on you :)

Dragonfly Kai!

We have some really exciting news! Kai starts her first day of preschool tomorrow. We lucked out and landed a spot at a really great Genesis school called Longleaf Learning Center. Starting with two days a week Kai will be in the Dragonfly Room. We're told it's pretty hard to get in so needless to say we feel blessed. Here are a few pictures of us headed out the door for a little tour of LLC a few days ago. This picture of Kai cracks me up! Check out her facial expression :) She's just a ham and will do great in school. Wish us luck :)

Cousin Nik!

Last week my cousin Nikolas came over to hang for the day! We helped Daddy with yard work, colored with sidewalk chalk on the driveway and played with my toys. We took turns hiding toys from Kohlston too. Mommy keeps telling me that one day soon he will be bigger than I am - oh I better watch out :)

Gram Audrey!

Last week Gigi Terry took us to visit with Mamaw Audrey! She moved into a new home and seems to be adjusting very well. We danced to some entertainment and had a really nice time. When Kai walked in she made a comment that she saw 'Mommy's wheelchair & walker' - gotta laugh :)
