Sister & Brother

We've been waiting for the day that these two would become best buds and that day has finally come. Kailey now asks me to 'keep Kohlston up' so that she can play with him. She always wants to lead by example so he can watch her and learn. If he's throwing his food on the floor she will ask me to say 'Kohlston, watch sissy' - it's adorable! GOD luv these little bugs :) We are so blessed!

On this day....

On this day of Aug. 9th, 2010 may we remember Helmuth Katz Jr. (a.k.a. Grampa Bill). Kailey and Kohlston know that you are with us every single day in spirit. We talk about you often and cherish all of our wonderful memories with you. Especially our wedding day - April 22, 2005.

Yesterday we took a trip to the beach to spend the day with you. It was filled with joy knowing that you are with us whereever we may go.

The Phipps Family!

Wednesday we had the Phipps famliy over for a cookout and a little swimming! The boys cooked up a DELICIOUS brisket - check out the size of this bad boy (it cooked for about 8 hours on the charcoal grill) :) Mmmmmm YUMMY!

Cuba found his new BFF! Baillie was sooo wonderful with him. He was her appendage for most of the evening. She protected him from Addison and Kohlston.

The girls were 'camping out' underneath Kohlston's changing table - too funny! They had sooooooo much fun together.

Dress up was also part of the evening entertainment by the girls! They think it's so fun to change into all of Kai's dresses (her room looked like a tornado went through it by the end of the night).

We had a blast! A lot of laughing, good converstion and great friends - what more could you ask for :) Can't wait to do it again!

Longboat Key - we're back!

Daddy's on vacation so we headed back to our favorite hotel in Longboat Key! Gigi Lynne was sweet enough to drive down and hang out with Kohlston & Cuba (thanks Momma - ur the best!). We can't wait until Kohlston is a little bigger so he can join us without overheating and eating too much sand (maybe next summer little dude). We had a wonderful time with Kailey and she really enjoyed our relaxing vacation together. It's not too often that she gets 100% of our attention.

Miss Kai started off the day by making friends with the adorable little boys. They welcomed her to build sand castles but didn't say too much so Kai eventually ran off to start some of her own masterpieces!
