Born: June 30th, 11:29am

Length: 20.5 inches long

Weight: 7lb's 14oz.

Our handsome little guy has finally arrived! He has a lot of blonde hair and big feet :) Mommy & baby are doing well!

Daddy, Kai & Kohl meeting for the first time. Kai ran up to him and gave him 'pink'. For those of you who don't know PINK is her favorite blanket and 'no one' gets pink :) We were so pleased at how well she took to him (wish us luck when we get home).

Hanging in there!

We arrived at the hospital at 4pm as planned for our slow overnight induction. Our little guy must have known the plan because I started having contractions before the nurses had a chance to do anything. I'm 3cm dilated and 80% effaced - yippie!! My contractions were about 1.5 to 2 min's apart for several hours however, have now subsided. Sooooooo we're going to get a good nights sleep and see what happens. If they don't pick back up again then we'll start meds about 6am. Come on Kohlston - we're waiting to meet your handsome little face :)

Baby Update!

Hello!
Well, I'm writing for those of you who are anxiously waiting for our little man to arrive (as we are). I'm 3 days past our due date and still 1cm dilated and 80% effaced (as of this morning). Our Doctor was a little surprised we haven't made more progress given this is our second child but each pregnancy is different :) With that said, we will check into the hospital on Monday evening to slowly start meds and induce overnight to deliver on Tuesday, June 30th! This will put me at 41 weeks. This weekend we'll probably relax and enjoy our last few days until our new addition arrives. IF we happen to capture anything exciting we'll post pictures. If 'not' then check back in early next week for updates, details and new family pictures!

Father's Day!

On Father's Day we went over to Gigi Terry & Peepaw's to celebrate! I wasn't able to see ALL of my cousins but quite a few of them. Here we are (keep in mind I just got out of the pool - hence my wet hair).

First - we want to wish GrampZ a Very Happy Birthday! We hope today was extra special :) Secondly, we went to the Doc today for our 39.5 week follow up to learn that Mr. Kohlston is cozy in Mommy's womb. We're still 1 cm dilated....only time will tell when he finally decides to join us :) Tonight we went out for a late celebration of Mommy's B-day and and early celebration of Father's Day!

Today for Mommy's Birthday Anna & Ava invited us over for playtime and brownies! We had so much fun taking pictures, dancing to the Wiggles and hanging out. I love Anna & Ava - see you tomorrow at Gymboree Class :)

Happy Birthday Mommy!

HUGE Milestone!!!

Today I used the BIG GIRL POTTY for the first time ever!!! Mom started potty training right after my 2 year Doctor appointment in May (suggested by Dr. Alverez) but it wasn't really going anywhere so we decided to put it on hold for a few months. We have the big girl potty, pull ups, books, Dora panties etc... but I just wasn't ready. This morning I asked Mommy if I could sit on the big girl potty and Mommy said 'sure, let's go try' (not thinking much of it). I couldn't go and decided to go out back and play in the yard again. A few moments later I told Mommy I wanted to try again and BAM - I went #2! Mommy & Daddy were soooooooo HAPPY they took me to get my VERY FIRST Chocolate Milk Shake! Here I am relaxing in the sunshine drinking my Milk Shake!

Oh - yes, we're still waiting for my little brother to join us. We'll post more on that later.

Baby Update!

Today I went to see the Doctor for my weekly update and I'm officially 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Kohlston is head down and in position :) :) This means our little guy could come at anytime! It was really exciting to hear the great news. I've experienced contractions but nothing to react to 'yet'. Keep you fingers crossed that we get Kai & Cuba dropped off to Gigi Terry & Peepaw's in time and make it to the hospital which is about a 50 minute drive (downtown Clearwater). Yes, it's a little bit of a drive but these Doctors are worth it :) Stay tuned....

Introducing......

No, baby Kohlston isn't here yet! However, Kai wanted to show off her NEW 'Shabby Chic' Big Girl room!!! We still have a few minor things to polish up but for the most part we're 95% done decorating (besides a book shelf & dust ruffle). We spend A LOT of time reading and playing in her room and it's becoming one of our favorite rooms in the house :)

Kohlston's Shower!

This past weekend my Mother & Sister in law (Terry & Jen) threw our little man - KOHLSTON - a baby shower! It was small, intimate & perfect :) The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious (see below). The food was wonderful and we truly appreciate all of our gifts. We're all set - now we just need our baby boy to join us!!!

Memorial Day Weekend!
