Spring is here!!!

Early Sat. morning we decided to pack up the car and head to the beach for a night! We went to North Reddington Beach (just about an hour South of here) and took the day/night to relax with our babes. While we were there we celebrated Daddy's 34th Birthday (a little early). HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY - we love you! We had a great time relaxing, swimming (more like wading through the water - it's still a bit chilly), building sand castles, making sand angels and just goofing off together. The first two shots are Kai & Kohlston in the room just about to head down to the beach. Let me tell you - they were EXCITED!!!

Kohlston is trying to figure out how he can carry this cooler down for Daddy ;)
We brought an umbrella, chairs and Kohlston's pack-n-play and set up camp.
It was the perfect setting that allowed plenty of sun and shade for the kids.
Kohl had a blast people watching, bird watching and listening to the waves crash on the beach. He was soooooooooo good and enjoyed everyone minute of it!!!

I love this picture! Kai had a blast playing in the sand (if yah can't tell) :)

Daddy's famous pose with Kikster!
I need some shades - this sun is in my eyes.

It was a little on the cold side for Kohlston. He wasn't too crazy about the water.
It was much better from up here :)
Mommy & Kai getting ready for lunch.
Kai thought she was cool with her OJ because she had a lid. The waitress even drew a silly face on her cup. The things that excite kids - too funny!

Daddy & Kai head back down to the water! The chilliness didn't bother Kai one bit :)
What a day!!! We can't wait to do it again.

Day at the Mall!

Today we spent the day at Citrus Park Mall doing a little early Birthday shopping for Daddy (shhhhh - he'll be 34 on April 5th). Kai rode the Merry Go Round, played in the gym and we even had lunch there.

Here's Cool Man Kohl being the sweet boy that he is :) He can't wait until he's able to get up and run around with his big sister! His eyes are on her 24/7.
Kai got this puzzle figured out in no time at all! That's our smart cookie :-)

St. Patty's Day Celebration!

Last weekend Mommy & Daddy had their night out without us. Kohlston went to Gigi & Peepaw's and I spent the evening making cookies and playing with Mamaw Dorthy. There weren't many pictures taken but rest assure they said it was a great time. Here's Mom & Dad on the way to Palm Harbor's St. Patty's Day block party.

Daphne & Jamie (not pictured) came by to have a few drinks and share some good laughs with us.

Hope everyone is having a great St. Patty's Day!
Cheers!

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend Daddy decided to attack the yard! He pulled quite a few dead plants, replaced them with new ones, moved some stuff around and put down fresh mulch. I love helping him in the yard too!

Check out these huge 'worms' Daddy found!! I wasn't scared a bit :P

Little man chillin' in the warm sunshine!

This is the one and only picture we have of Kohlston with his hair laying flat on his head. It was static cling from his hoodie - too funny! He looks like a different kid :P

Our three babes hanging out together (notice Coobs is up high.... strategically placed 'far' from little man's hands - smart dude).

Here's Bubba walking along the couch!

Just after dinner (right before bathtime). Don't mind the food all over my face - these pictures were too cute not to post.

Check out this smile!!!

March 2010

Well, not much to report except for the fact that DADDY GOT A PROMOTION (yeah Daddy - we're so proud of you) :) Oh that and the fact that Kai brought home the Flu from school (welcome to the world of germs huh). It started with Kai then Kohlston and on to Daddy, Mamaw Barbara, Gg Lynne, GrampZ and last but not least Mommy. Keeping our fingers crossed it has all passed now :) Here are a few shots of us. First is of Kai going through all of her Princess books and trying to decide what to read before bedtime (of course she wants ALL of them - lol).

She's gotta get a silly face in there (that's our girly):
I had my first successful trip to the grocery with Kohlston since my back went out (Kai was at school). All went well except Kohlston was wondering WHY Mommy put him in a "PINK floppy seat cover" - Hah! He still had the ladies staring at him saying how adorable he was :)
Here's Kai getting ready for school. She wanted to put on a little of Mommy's makeup before hand (chapstick that is).
We headed to Gainesville last weekend to visit with family. GrampZ hadn't seen us since Thanksgiving if you can believe that. It was a great time as always :)
GrampZ & Kohlston were so excited to see each other!
We went out for pizza one night and got this great 4 Generation shot!

Kai's 1st Award!

We're so proud of our little Kailey girl! During her 2nd day of school she received her first Citizenship Award for helping her friend put her hat back on while playing outside. Great job Keeks - keep up the good work babe!
We love you!

My first day of school!

This morning we dropped our little girl off for her very first day of school! We explained how the day would go (since kids don't have a perception of time) so she understood when Mommy & Daddy would be back to pick her up (after nap). She handled it really well. We walked in and Kai said hello to all of the ladies up front. Once we got to her classroom we put her jacket and backpack up on her hook. Kai set off to play with the other kids without a worry in the world. She turned around and said "bye"! We're anxious to call later and check in on you :)

Dragonfly Kai!

We have some really exciting news! Kai starts her first day of preschool tomorrow. We lucked out and landed a spot at a really great Genesis school called Longleaf Learning Center. Starting with two days a week Kai will be in the Dragonfly Room. We're told it's pretty hard to get in so needless to say we feel blessed. Here are a few pictures of us headed out the door for a little tour of LLC a few days ago. This picture of Kai cracks me up! Check out her facial expression :) She's just a ham and will do great in school. Wish us luck :)

Our little school girl!
The BACKPACK!! Did I mention 'Kai Lan' :)
Stay tuned for MORE photos tomorrow!

Cousin Nik!

Last week my cousin Nikolas came over to hang for the day! We helped Daddy with yard work, colored with sidewalk chalk on the driveway and played with my toys. We took turns hiding toys from Kohlston too. Mommy keeps telling me that one day soon he will be bigger than I am - oh I better watch out :)

Here's little Kohlston watching the big kids play.

Gram Audrey!

Last week Gigi Terry took us to visit with Mamaw Audrey! She moved into a new home and seems to be adjusting very well. We danced to some entertainment and had a really nice time. When Kai walked in she made a comment that she saw 'Mommy's wheelchair & walker' - gotta laugh :)
